PASTOR- REV. MATTHEW BENZ-WHITTINGTON
Email- [email protected] Matthew and his wife, Bethany, son Leo and daughter Georgia moved to Maryville in July of 2020 to join Highland and their ministry. Before coming to Maryville they spent three years in Longmont, CO and had a great adventure out west, but felt God was calling them back to their southern roots. Matthew is a native Tennessean; born and raised in Memphis and attended UT Chattanooga, earning a degree in religion. Bethany was born in Morristown, TN and was raised outside of Atlanta, GA. Matthew has experience serving in church camps, hospital chaplaincy, and various sized congregations. Youth ministry and service to others are places where he has found much joy in ministry. |

CHOIR DIRECTOR AND ORGANIST- JUSSARA HORTON
Email- [email protected] Jussara serves the Highland congregation as organist and choir director. This is her ninth year of service where she leads the choir and congregation in hymns and directs the choir's anthem every Sunday. The choir gathers for practice on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary and practices at 10:00 am in the parlor on Sunday mornings before worship. |

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR- WILLIAM MARTIN
Email- [email protected] William Andrew Martin joined the Highland staff in August of 2021 and he is a joy to have in the office! He creates the weekly bulletin, checks messages and mail and keeps Highland moving in a straight direction every week. |
