We are collecting Instant Oatmeal and Soup for the Blessing Boxes located in the parking lot during October. We are also collecting Tajin seasoning and cooking oil for the Community Food Connection. There is also a box in the back for financial contributions.
Find us on social media and watch the service live every Sunday on our Facebook page at 9:45 a.m.
The Mennonite Farm in Tellico Plains, an Old Order Mennonite Community who do not use modern conveniences, donated about 200 pounds of vegetables to Community Food Connection in Blount County on September 4th. Highland Members David and Pat Woody provide transportation. One Mennonite youth said, "Thank you for helping us feed the hungry!" as he was loading the food. His eyes were smiling. They have made several contributions during the past year.
We'd like to thank the Mennonite Farm and David and Pat Woody for this valuable service.
