SERVING OTHERS
Highland Presbysterian Church has a long history of mission work. Over the years, Highland has supported both community and world-wide mission programs. We have provided financial support and congregational volunteers in a wide-variety of mission efforts. Some of our efforts are detailed below.

OUR CUBA CONNECTION
In 2009 a relationship began between the congregation of the Presbyterian Church in Taguasco, Cuba and the congregation of Highland Presbyterian Church in Maryville, Tennessee. This partnership is based on mission as a relationship of being partners in sharing how God is present in the lives of the two congregations. Fifteen members of Highland have visited in Taguasco. However, because of travel restrictions for Cubans, so far only the pastor in Taguasco has visited Highland. The two congregations are learning what it is to be like Christian family, each serving Christ in a different country. ______________________________________
